For hiking or accessing steep mountain terrain, the lightweight 12 Series snowshoes from Atlas attack the challenge. THESE SNOWESHOES WERE A DEFINITE DISPPOINTMENT. WE COULD NOT GET OUR OUTDOOR BOOTS IN THE BINDINGS, THEREFORE WE WERE NOT ABLE TO TRY THEM. THEY WERE RETURNED THE VERY NEXT DAY. SORRY!

First showshoe purchase for both my wife and me. Tried them out within days of receipt and they exceeded our expectations. The snowshoes easily adapted to our boots, were comfortable and never once did we need to adjust them during use. They allowed us to navigate uphill, flat terrain and downhill without any problems and for first times users we could'nt be more satisfied.

A friend recommended the Atlas snowshoes, and I have loved them. I got the 1230s, and my wife got the B24. They are very well built and versatile. The bindings are fairly easy to get into and out of, and once I'm in them, they do the trick perfectly. The deck appears to be very durable, and the feature that flips up to help on steep ascents works great. I love this shoe.

I purchased my 1230's to have something to do outside in the long Mid-Michigan winters. They've been everything I'd hoped for. I can now easily go right up inclines that would be tough even in the summer. The most pleasant surprise is how easy it is to go over high weeds and low brush. The more off-trail I go, the more fun it is with these 1230's.
