Like four-wheel drive for your feet, the BC24 Snowshoes from Atlas Snowshoe allow fast and efficient access to the backcountry. The variable-shaped geometry is wide and short to maximize flotation and mobility, while the stiff shape of the frame creates a responsive suspension.
  • Spring-Loaded Suspension provides excellent control by allowing natural articulation of the foot
  • The Summit binding collapses for easy transport, and waterproof urethane straps stay dry and light
  • Stiff ReactiV 7075 aluminum frame is shaped wider and shorter to increase flotation
  • 3D-formed crampons feature shovel-like prongs that grip and hold; sharp end-points bite in the iciest of conditions
  • Parallel traction rails give the most bite and stability when traversing
  • Duratek plastic decking is puncture resistant and remains flexible in extremely cold conditions
  • Weight per pair: 3 lb 3 oz
    • Length: 24 inches
      • Frame material: 7075 aluminum
        • Decking material: Duratek plastic
          • Load: 100 - 200 pounds

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

These are great shoes for backcountry hiking and/or boarding in conditions other than deep powder. I have a feeling that they might be too small to be very effective in the knee deep light and dry but I haven't tested them in those conditions.
