I bought 4 pairs of Yukon Charlies for my family for Christmas. The first chance we had to use them, we all put them on and began our 1 hour trek in nice Michigan snow. My daughter took two steps and the deck on one of her's tore through. We went on our trek anyway, and when we returned, 7 out of the 8 snow shoes had torn or cracked decks. The one that made it without cracking was worn by my 12 year old son, who weighs 95 pounds. The shoes are rated at 200 and the heaviest of us was 170. Don't buy this product

I didn't take two steps in these snowshoes before the decking on one shoe ripped and the whole toe section gave way. Not what I wanted to happen in hip deep snow, it made for a long miserable trek. Needless to say I would not recommend these to my worst enemy.
