Great weekend bag for me
By Winston S.Verified Purchaser from New York City on 11/15/2006
Pros:
Comfortable, Compact, Tough
Cons:
Does not come with strap
Best Uses:
travel

I bought this bag on clearance from Mountain Gear and so far it has lived up to its expectatins for me. It is spacious enough for a weekend trip for me, maybe longer for some people since I am a heavy packer. The Osprey straight jacket system works great when you don't fill the bag all the way because it allows you to compress the bag. There is also a pocket on the lid where you can store items you need to get to quickly such as the shoulder strap (not included) after you get the bag off of the conveyor belt. That is my only qualm about the bag, that it does not come with a shoulder strap. The pocket on the lid is also accessible on the underside through mesh, if I remember correctly. There is also a pocket on the inside and one at the top of the bag when worn like a backpack where the lid would be. I also like the rubber handle which it comes with which is comfortable to hold. I would not hesitate to buy this bag again.
