This is my main bag for 90 percent of my daily backpack needs, around town or on the trail. It's big enough for essentials, even a weekend at a country B&B, or a trip to Hawaii ... if all you take is an extra pair of shorts and a t-shirt.
I've had several Bullets over the years and this one is probably my favorite design. What they all share, though, is simplicity, ruggedness (ballistic nylon most everywhere), and what I'd call a really useful size -- big enough for essentials, not large enough to tempt you to take stuff you don't need.
Though it will take a hydration bladder, that is not the forte of this pack (which doesn't have a padded back panel or internal bladder sleeve). Where the Bullet shines is in its simplicity (one big internal pocket, one smaller outer pocket, a couple of clip-on points) and rugged light weight. Roll it up into the corner of a suitcase and it is there when you need it for hiking, tourism, or your daily life.
I've never found anything to match it.
The pack is a great size for day climbing trips. I can fit my harness, chalk bag,two pairs of shoes, water bottle, food, and headlamp all inside the pockets, while the gear loops let me hook on other gear, like quickdraws, runners, and extra biners.
Its a great little day pack and really durable but is still really comfortable to climb in.
