These really are great gloves. I really enjoy being able to access things in my jacket pockets or backpack without having to remove my gloves and expose my hands to the elements.
The only negative I've experienced has been when using the gloves in temperatures around 10 to 15 degrees F., I begin to feel coolness in the tips of my fingers, but I think it's because the fingers in the gloves are very snug, which reduces circulation slightly, and therefore warmth. The rest of my hand feels perfectly warm!
I've tried these as "Liner Gloves" inside a pair of Gortex glove shells that I have, and they were outstanding! Nice addition to my gear.
