contact glove is my goto glove for ice climbing. it fits my hands better than most gloves (large hands, short fingers). leather seems to be more supple and abrasion resistant than anything else, so they're good when you don't want to mess w/ 2 pairs of gloves: 1 for climbing, 1 for rappelling.

Surprisingly good
By BucknastyVerified Reviewer from Portland, OR on 11/6/2007
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Pros:
Good Grip, Great dexterity, Great Insulation, Snug Fit/Stretch
Best Uses:
ice climbing, Mountaineering, Three season Alpine
Describe Yourself:
Alpine enthusiast, Ice climber
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Warm for the weight, and has great dexterity for manipulating gear on ice climbs. Thin-ish palm material makes gripping the ice tools just a bit easier than usual. Not quite as warm as the Punisher, but has a much better "feel" to it.
