Good for mountaineering
By ErikVerified Purchaser from Germany on 8/29/2006
Pros:
Great Insulation, Tough
Cons:
Too Bulky
Best Uses:
Extreme Conditons, Mountaineering

I have these gloves just one or two weeks, but my fist opinion is that they are good Gloves for mountaineering. The gloves are warm and though. But they are bulky. Originally I bought these gloves for ice climbing, but the gloves are so big, that I nearly can't span the hand grip of my Katana Pro Ice tools. Now I will use the gloves for mountaineering.

controll with comfort!
By Jordan the climberVerified Purchaser from Bellingham, WA on 1/31/2006
Pros:
Lightweight, Tough
Cons:
collects sweat
Best Uses:
Alpine Climbing, Technical ice

I have to say that I am very happy with these gloves. They are very comfortable and durable, as well as lightweight. My only real "problem" with these gloves is that sweat sometimes dampens the liner, so when you stop it can make it hard to warm up again. Still, they kept me incredibly warm during movement, almost to warm.
