I have average size hands; maybe some would describe them as large - but no way do I have XXL and these XL sized gloves are too small to wear with a thin liner from the same company.
All gloves (and socks) should lend themselves to being securely attached to something. "Something" being a pack, belt loop, drying line, or perhaps the end of my arm.
A glove that can be attached to the other glove is pretty much a pain - usually with small, awkward clips. I guess that it is just as well to lose both gloves as just the one; at least, whoever finds the gloves will find a pair!
