Great gloves
By DonVerified Purchaser from Conyers, Georgia on 2/28/2007
Comfort:
Comfortably snug, Wicks away moisture
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Pros:
Good Grip, Snug Fit/Stretch, Tough
Cons:
Not as warm as I thought
Best Uses:
Casual Wear
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I am a soccer coach and all my players were jealous during a very cold game last week. These gloves could be a little warmer but make up for that by being small and not too bulky in my pack. Being tough as nails doesnt hurt either.

Durable, flexible soft shell glove
By ChrisVerified Purchaser from New York, NY on 10/28/2006
Comfort:
Breathable
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Pros:
Tough
Best Uses:
Hiking, Mountaineering

This is a good backpacking, mountaineering, cycling or spring skiing glove. Flexible, stretch soft-shell fabric offers moderate insulation and wind resistance, and is MUCH more durable than fleece. Leather palm and fingers also improve durability. I bought them a little big, which allows me to use them with a thin liner or under a glove shell.

extra pair
By Josh, the biggest gear ho you knowVerified Purchaser from CO on 3/30/2006
Pros:
Breathable, Good Grip, Snug Fit/Stretch
Cons:
Wears Easily
Best Uses:
Hiking

Great glove to wear touring, but your hands may get cold. That's why I carry a pair of OR mittens that pop on right over.
[...] They're not the toughest gloves out there. But for breathability with still a decent degree of protection I haven't come across a better pair.

Tough but caring
By GringoaltoVerified Purchaser from Eagle County, Colorado on 2/22/2006
Pros:
Did I mention tough, Lightweight, Tough
Cons:
Tough to get liners under them
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Good tough climbing glove

I have currently been climbing in the same pair for 2 years. They stay in my chest pocket until it is time to climb and then come out for the work. I have climbed spring routes in Colorado to cold winter routes in Wyoming to higher altitude routes in Ecuador. The only thing I add is a pair of poly liners under them. I recently bought a second pair because all good things must come to an end.

Great when dry
By Yukon DonVerified Purchaser from New York Outdoors on 1/20/2006
Pros:
Comfortable, Tough
Cons:
unpleasant when wet
Best Uses:
Hiking

These gloves are warm for their weight when they are dry. They are comfortable and tough. I would not recommend them for wet conditions when it's cold. Mine got wet during a recent trip in the Adirondacks and it took 2 days to dry them out.
