Why in the world did they put a rough, stiff, edging material right where it is guaranteed to rub against the bottom of your nose? It's crazy. It would probably be a decent product if it were not for that. Unfortunately you cannot change it yourself. They could not possibly have tested this product before putting it on the market.

The fleece patches over the ears let me hear what is going on while the rest of my head is protected by the Windstopper fabric, NICE! Also, the Large size actually fits my head. I'm normally XL or bigger in most hats. No more pressure headaches while ascending in cold weather. It can be worn in multiple ways and hides away in the pack for emergencies.

Used this under extreme wind and cold conditions to climb Mount Elbrous in Russia. It was just awful: the chafing made the breathing much more difficult. Turning my head without loosing sight was also a challenge.
