I bought this hat as a gift. The person loved the hat but just didnt like the color which was peat moss so I had to return it. The hat did seem sturdy and very rain proof. The logo on the hat was also a little large, and right in the front.

Got this item on sale and couldn't be happier. I've found that MH gear has abnormal sizing and I usually end up sizing up. Despite that, I followed the sizing chart and ended up with what I think is probably the right size.
Very comfortable hat, lightweight, and waterproof (obviously). MH makes good stuff, so this shouldn't be a surprise. I've only had the hat for a few weeks and haven't worn it a whole lot, so I can't comment on the durability, breathability, and so on. I have worn it in the rain, and it works. I like how the "bill" of the hat is a little longer in the back to protect the back of your neck. Construction looks quality and I'm sure I'll be using this hat for years. I haven't worn this hat in high heat where breathability would be a priority, but it may be a concern.

Wonderful hat! I work outside every day and this hat does it all! When its real cold just slip a beanie under it and cinch it down
