No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I own quite a few Prana hats and they all fit perfectly. I was very excited for this new style, and was extremely disappointed when I tried it on. I even had a few other friends try it on the see if I was just abnormal, and it was tiny on everyone.

Seems like a cute, casual hat - perfect for post ski helmet head -- but the sucker is SMALL. You have to have a little bean for it to fit...almost kid sized.
