I needed a hat I could shove in a back pack or take on the river. I didnt want to spend a lot sice there was a good chance I would loose it. I have to say this hat is great. I sewed on a few snaps so I could raise the brim, and it looked like those expensive hats and it worked like a charm. The vented sides helped keep my head cool and the sun off my face and neck. a must have item for any trecker or rafter

A great hat to keep the sun off your face/neck while hiking. Had to cut and re-sew the chin strap on one side to make the two sides even. However I'm really happy with the product.
