No, I would not recommend this to a friend
There is no support to the bill on this cap (no plastic insert, or whatever they use to give ballcaps their shape). You can sort of shape it the way you want, but even a slight breeze is going to mess it up again and make you look silly. The material is nice (breathable, light, I imagine it dries very fast), and I suppose it might be a plus that you can jam the hat in your pocket, but these don't make the hat worth it, even at [...] discounted price. I sent mine back immediately.
