Pros:
Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, SUPER WARM, Waterproof
Best Uses:
Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather

This jacket is one of the best jackets I have invested in so far! I have been wearing it for the last week everyday skiing. It has been extremely cold out, around -20 to -30 degrees and this jacket has kept me warm with just a poly pro shirt under it. Deffinantly a solid jacket. The only thing you could want more for it would be a hood... BUT Arcteryx makes them with hoods!

Great product. Keeps you at just the right warmth no matter what the temp; no pit-zips needed. No bulk and great styling. Like all other Arc'Teryx, quality is exquisite.

If you want one with a hood, they make two other versions (the AR and the SV) for you to choose. I wouldn't mark this version down because it's hoodless.

I was looking for a synthetic alternative to the down belay parka I already have. I was wanting something compressible like a down sweater but with a lightweight waterproof shell. [...]

LIGHTWEIGHT WARMTH
By TOOTSVerified Purchaser from NORTH JERSEY (SOPRANO COUNTRY) on 3/14/2006
Pros:
GREAT FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT, Lightweight, TOTALLY WINDPROOF, Tough
Cons:
THOUGHT IT WOULD BE COMPRESSIBLE
Best Uses:
Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking, TAILGATING

I HAVE A MTN HARDWEAR CHUGACH JACKET WHICH I LOVE BUT WANTED ANOTHER JACKET A LITTLE MORE STYLISH. THIS JACKET IS IT. I ONLY THOUGHT IT WOULD BE COMPRESSIBLE SIMILAR TO THE MTN HARDWEAR COMPRESSOR PL. IT IS NOT AND DOES NOT COME WITH A STUFF SACK. BUT, I AM STILL QUITE PLEASED WITH THE JACKET WITH NO REGRETS ON THE PURCHASE.
