I used these socks on a 3 day backpack trip in the Adirondacks and they performed very well through hot weather and soggy trails. They are thick and cushiony and kept my feet very comfortable over long miles. I love them and hope to buy more, since it's hard to find a good hiking/backpacking sock in the low-cut style that I prefer.
