These pants are pretty good, but thinner than I expected. But the upside to that is that they're very easy to move in; they're a great pair of climbing pants for example. Not exactly what one would expect from "utility pants," so keep that in mind when ordering.

Overall, a good look, good sizing, and good fit. Just not quite as heavy as I anticipated.

A nice pair of comfortable pants I can wear to the office or around the house. A good alternative to "Dockers" or some other kahki style pants w/an outdoor ethic.

I started buying North Face Products when I was working in Kabul, Afghanistan. When I returned to D.C. the A5 pant was on sale at a local retailer. I bought it and will keep buying it. It has the "slacks" look for my job, but a really great feel, with the classic North Face pockets for my Cell Phone and Leatherman Tool.
