Equally adaptable in both Heat or as an 1st
layer with heavier shirt and jacket in cold weather!
I have two of these shirts. It's a nice shirt but has a very loose fit in the arms. Chest/shoulders are ok for a size large shirt- fit for a 40-42" chest, but arms are cut for someone with 20" biceps- not a combo that's likely to happen. The sleeves are also too long- they almost reach my elbow. Snug up the arms a little (make the cut pattern like a duofold T) and it's a great shirt for me. If you like baggy shirts, it's definitely for you.
Like others have mentioned it snags and pills easily so be careful of that.
This material doesn't get overly funky like some poly shirts like capilene.
One of my favorite hiking shirts. Doesn't stick when sweaty, dries easily, cleans easily, feels great with regards to sizing, and one of the best wicking shirts out there!
I wear wicking clothing every day in my job as a coach and have just about all types from Patagonia, Arc Teryx, OR, Marmot, and Mountain Hardwear.
This rates as one of the best in my collection and, at the price, intend to stock up exclusively with these guys from now on. The fit is great, no tag to cut out, super-soft on the body, wicks perfectly, and only minor pillage after 1st wash; but I'll deal with that if the shirt does its job.
Only minor complaint would be I ordered Moab Red thinking it would be red, and it turned out to be quite orange. Prob my fault for not checking different sizes of pictures on different sites. No matter; great shirt!
real nice shirt. my kids love the logo. durable and very versatile.
Got a bunch of these for my brother who is an IT professional. He overheats in cotton so he really appreciates these. Be careful to wash separately from velcro or ANYthing rough--the wonderfully breathable fabric unfortunately snags easily. Medium seemed a little baggy on him, but he likes them.
purchased a large and will return it because it is too big for a large.
I have three of these, I love how cool they keep me and how light they are, it almost feels like not I'm not wearing a shirt. They dry really fast too so you can dive into the lake or river and the shirt will be dry 20 minutes later. I've had one of these shirts for three years now and it's still not stinky like other polyester products get. The only cons are the price and that the fabric is prone to snags but not so much so that you should avoid this shirt.
Product looked and felt great, but if you don't want to walk around like a billboard, don't buy this item. They embroider in a very big way their logo on the hem, and then stencil another one on the back between the shoulders. They aught to pay us to wear them.
We're spending a month traveling Europe. The Wicked shirt (short and long sleeve versions) will be my basic top for hiking and street wear. We'll sink wash at night to stretch a few shirts into a month's wardrobe.
This is my second wicked T. I wear them doing everything that I do in the outdoors. they are great for the hot muggy summer climate that I live in (Alabama). They are nice enough to wear out in public also. they wear well under the shoulder straps of a heavy backpack. one of my all around pieces of gear.
