I own several hundred dollars worth of gloves, mittens, and liners for Alpine skiing, snowshoeing, and Nordic skiing. Most of the warmer gloves and mittens are so bulky, I have to pull them off and freeze when I want to do anything. While these gloves might look kinda sissy and lightweight, they are truly amazingly warm and you don't have to sacrifice feel. I've skied in subzero temps with these on and a pair of Mountain Hardware liners underneath and stayed toasty warm ALL day. My husband had on expedition weight OR mittens and liners and still got cold. I love these things...and I like that they're kinds unique and styling, too. One downside is that snow sticks to them. They shed it quickly, but I suggest shell mitts in really snowy conditions. Must haves!
I use these gloves for driving and they are super soft, warm and cozy.
