Pros: Nice and compact which is a good thing because space is premo often times on trips. Went for a jog this afternoon and it kept the o'l gourd warm. It will definitely be in my pack hiking/kayaking or with me when I go fly fishing for trout and striped bass in New England on cold days. Quality material and the fit is pretty darn good even with a mop of unruly hair. Arcteryx delivers again.

Cons: Looks a bit like a doo rag due to the close fit, but I can get used to it!

The first trip I used this on was a backpack trip to Joshua Tree NP. We actually got snow flurries in the desert. This beanie fit wonderfully under my cap and kept my ears nice and warm.
