Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
If you are like me and hate a "tall hat" this hat is for you. It is definitely not a "tall hat!" It feels got and has good cushion in the headband. The only thing is if you are like me and have a small head, you will have problems with fit. I had to undo the stitches and re-size the strap, and is still a little big.
