No, I would not recommend this to a friend
While the watch is great, the button that you depress to turn the back lighting on is impossible to push down. By the time you get it to work....your thumb has fallen off. Great look....but keep looking.

This watch acts as a godsent. The 1" white band I have on my forearm from my suntan prooves my admoration as I never take this watch off!
