Great softshell!
I ordered a size up because of other reviews regarding fit...glad I did for the arms, which seem to run small; however the chest seems to run larger than true to size.
Would absolutely purchase again and recommend to others.

These are the very best soft-shells ever. Even though they are a bit pricey, they area worth every dollar spent. We bought one for each of our family members and the jackets have seen us through many outdoor adventures. They can be layered with hard-shell outerwear for extremely cold temperatures, such as on top of mountains and in Alaska. They also work very well as an outer layer for many outdoor activities. For example, my husband & I recently wore ours pre & post SCUBA diving in Monterey, where the water temp. was 49' and the outside temp when we started out was 32', then kayaked in the bay, and then went to dinner at a ***star seafood restaurant. I often take road-bike rides wearing it as needed or tying it around my waist or putting it in a small pack if I don't need it. I can't say enough positive things aboout their soft-shells. We have purchased a lot of active-wear and this is our BEST investment. We also have some tees and several pullovers made by Arc'Teryx and they are pretty good as well.
One tip if you own one or choose to buy one soon is to wash it on the gentle cycle and hang it to dry. Also, using a liquid detergent;Penguin brand or similar high performance/tech wash is the best, will keep it in great shape despite all your adventuring wear on the jacket. My 21 yr. old, extreme sports enthusiast's jacket still looks almost new and he wears it almost daily in the winter and whenever else he is out in cool to freezing weather.
