Excellent technical mountaineering softshell, including wrist-gaiters, pitzips, and a hood. The fit is close, since it's not a fashion item but rather a technical item.

I was glad to have read a review that commented on the small running size and to order two sizes larger, that is the way to go and I was very pleased with what I received.

Cold weather where I need flexibility and movement is the best use for this jacket. Use thin layers underneath. Flattering style. This jacket runs very small. I usually wear an 8 and ended up wearing a 12 so I could comfortably wear this jacket. I'm a 127 lb 5'5" female and the arms were short, the shoulders and chest were too tight. It's a great high quality coat worth buying! Just go 1-2 sizes up!

A little more give at the bottom would make the jacket easier to wear over layers.
