This top is ideal for wearing alone or with other layers both under and over it. It is very comfortable.
I also wear it to my office (really cool there!) and the gym (only need one layer).
I bought other tops from other companies similar to this which shrank. This top is perfect.

I used this product during really cold weather while walking my dog. It was also useful in my house with the cooler weather and lower setting of my thermostat. I wore it during damp weather with another shirt over it to stay warm.

I need more of these shirts. Unlike other Mountain Hardwear shirts that are 1/2" - 1" too short, it is a 1/2" too long (and I have a long torso). The stitching at the wrist was not secure on either of the 2 shirts I purchased and started to unravel after 2 washes. However, the seams are well positioned, the shirts are lightweight yet warm, super-breathable and comfy, and make a great second skin for indoor and outdoor winter activities.
