These pants fit strangely, and I'm not sure I would have purchased them had I tried them on in a store. They run small - I ordinarily wear a women's 10, in these pants I'm wearing a 12 and I still don't feel like there's enough room in the legs for real movement. It's like they're made for people who don't own quad muscles. Haven't worn a mid layer under them yet, just a base layer, so that isn't the issue. The size zip and waist velcro don't quite lay right, and are awkward when you try to use them in the BC.Overall, I'm much happier with my old TNF climbing pants (vintage 2003). Unfortunately, I've beaten them to [*] and they need to be replaced. I'm not sure if these pants are going to be the long term answer or not. They're hard to beat for the sale price, but had I paid full price I would have sent them back.
Delivery was fast, stuff got here in good condition.

The knees are not articulated if you're planning on bending your legs at all. Summit's tough enough without the pants fighting you.

I love these pants. Be aware of sizing when you're ordering for layering. I wore these pants on my mountaineering expedition on Aconcagua and it served me well. I wore these pants under three layers and got a size 6 which fits perfectly. In street clothes, my jeans are normally size 2 petite. The waist is adjustable with velcro. Overall, they are very comfortable and kept the 60 mph wind out to keep me warm. I will be wearing these to ski and ice climb also.
