I plan to take this jacket heli skiing in January, and use it locally to ski and board. The thing I love about arcteryx products is the room provided in the shoulder area. I usually wear a small, but ordered up a size so that I could use multiple layers underneath. It is also not a long jacket, and fits me perfectly at 5'2".
