The 3-layer Gore-Tex XCR is lightweight, waterproof and highly breathable for superior, dry comfort
Past the hip length with a drop back hem offers extra coverage and gusseted underarms prevent the jacket from riding up

The chest pocket, two hand pockets, front and pit zips are all WaterTight
The waist and hem draw cords are easily adjusted with one hand

I am a petsitter and need a reliable waterproof jacket when caught in a downpour. The Theta AR is exceptional! I have worn it several times now and have remained dry. I own a couple other Arcteryx jackets and cannot say enough good things about this brand.

No easy way to fold up the hood

Great jacket EXCEPT for the hood... no way to zip it up or fold it up when not in use, and the fabric is somewhat stiff, so it feels bulky.

This is an AWESOME jacket. Really lightweight, completely trustworthy in wet weather due to Gore-Tex. Not as stiff as the original Gore-Tex; XCR is a tad lighter and more moveable. I didn't give it 5 stars only because the two hand and one chest pockets are a little small---both mittens and hat won't fit in the pockets at the same time---but that is the ONLY drawback. Layered with fleece it will be great in winter as well. When I ordered my normal size it was huge- so I exchanged for the next smaller size and it fits perfectly. All in all a terrific buy, on sale as it was. It arrived really fast. [...]
