I purchased one of these precip jackets for myself and then for my girl. Both of us love these jackets, when we wear them out, we'll get two new ones. They are a must have for the outdoors person.

I bought this jacket to replace a water resistant ski jacket that doubled as a rain jacket. I wanted something that was truly waterproof and lightweight. This jacket fits the bill perfectly. I just skiied in very wet conditions, followed by windy snowy conditions, and this jacket kept me dry and warm (with the appropriate layers underneath). Only complaints are that the hood could have a bit more visor to it, and the velcro-ed pockets are a bit fussy. Other than that, perfect!
