I wish this had a stuff sack and a two-way zipper. I did not realize how important those features were me and wish I had not purchased the jacket. Packed down it is still fairly bulky for my daypack.

In NH where it is always raining, this jacket couldn't be more perfect. It is light and completely waterproof. When doing sports and it is raining, the jacket allows you to move easily. Just over all great!

Very nice rain gear.

I have had this jacket for almost four years and only now is it starting to show its age. It has served as a year-round jacket for me here in Southeast Alaska where rain is the norm. I highly recommend this and any other mountain hardwear product!

Got it for my girlfiend, a hiker and she loves it.

In these days with all the benefits shouted about soft shells is there a place for a true outer shell such as the epic? Yes there is! Whether its because you live in the wet northwest US and the constant drizzle manages to penetrate the soft shell or if you're paddling the Milford sound on a warm day and you know it has to rain at some point, but you don't want anything heavy or bulky; the epic fits the bill. We throw our Epic shells in on most day hikes in Colorado- just in case. At 10oz I won't even notice it if I don't take it out. It has a few semi stretchy spots in key places that let it fit well and move with you. The hood rocks on a windy rainy day and actually turns with your head. Most everyone in my family now owns an Epic and the silky inside finish really does make a difference. Thanks for another quality product mtn hardware!
