Patterned after the classic adult mountaineering fleece, the youth version of the The North Face Denali Jacket utilizes the same beefy 300 weight Polartec fleece to form a superior mid layer or stand alone jacket.

Thick, Polartec Classic 300 double-faced velor fleece is soft, warm, insulates even when wet and is pill resistant for long-lasting use
Fabric is treated to transport moisture away from the body for quick evaporation
2-ply nylon Supplex reinforcement in the shoulders, chest and arms resist wear
A double layer, stand-up collar provides added protection and warmth from the wind; bottom drawcord hem seals in heat
Two zippered handwarmer pockets provide secure storage
The full length zipper has an interior storm flap
It is the same as the adult version without chest pockets and pit zips

Fabric: Polyester fleece

Great, warm all around jacket. Use for ski,snow board,hiking, and other activities and well as casual use. Great under water proof shell.

My 12 year old has been after me for this jacket -it's the reason we bought northface jackets on this site for myself and my daughter too. then the keens...well...back to this jacket:

Denali by North Face. Its a classic, it's tested, and it's also THE thing to have in Jr. High, apparently. My son kayaks, fishes, adventure races, and ski's with me, but it's all about the cool for him. - although he may wear it for any of the above - it will sure hold up.

My wife is tiny and petite, so she will share this with him. I would have bought the denali for me too if the XXL I needed was there...its that great, but I'm happy with the northface windwall I got...and the wife and son are happy - what's not to like about that. :)

Bought the Yourh XL (16-18) for a 11 year olf boy who is tough on clothes. He loves it and it fits perfectly. He is avid outdoor person and sports person and this jacket is taking the beating only he could give it and is standing up well. Would buy again.

I'M A 5'6" FEMALE AND THE BOYS XL IS MORE THAN BIG ENOUGH. I WEAR IT ALMOST EVERYDAY, THE CHARCOAL GREY GOES WITH EVERYTHING. IN THE PAST I HAVE BOUGHT COLUMBIA, LLBEAN FLEECES BUT NONE ARE AS WARM OR AS DURABLE AS THE NORTH FACE. TOTALLY WORTH THE PRICE. I SUGGEST IF YOU ARE A SMALL TO AVERAGE WOMAN, DEFINITELY LOOK INTO GETTING A BOYS OR GIRLS JACKET TO SAVE $$$$. I INITIALLY ORDERED THE GIRLS BUT IT HAD THE FITTED MAKE GOING ON WHICH I HATE SO I EXCHANGED IT FOR THE BOYS.
