Patterned after the classic adult mountaineering fleece, the youth version keeps young ones toasty when the temperature drops with heavyweight Polartec 300 Series fleece. Abrasion-resistant reinforcements in the shoulders, chest, and arms withstand abuse from backpack straps, rough rock walls, and underbrush.

Keep warm in the thick, double-faced, Polartec Classic 300 velour fleece that insulates even when wet, and evaporates quickly thanks to DWR treatment
Expect to use the Denali for more than one or two adventures, the pill-resistant fabric wears well with repeated washes
2-ply nylon reinforcement in shoulders, chest, and arms resist wear
Double layer, stand-up collar provides added protection and warmth from the wind; bottom drawcord hem seals in heat
Two zippered handwarmer pockets provide secure storage
Zips into current hard shells from The North Face for simple layer integration

My 6 year old daughter was so excited to receive her Denali jacket that she tried to wear it to school on the first day, in August, in Alabama! Way too hot, but she can't wait for the cooler weather to come so she can put on her new jacket. She wears a size 6x/7 in clothing so we ordered the Small jacket. It is a little big, but will be good for layering and will last her for two years until she grows into her big sister's Medium! She is so proud of her jacket that I don't think she will loose this one.

I bought this jacket for my 14 year old daughter after she wore out the first one I bought two years ago by wearing it about 12 hours a day. Obviously, she loves the jacket. It is looks very sharp and stylish in black. Had light blue before and it showed dirt badly although the jacket 'washes up' very well. I bought a girls Large size and its fits 5'2", 115 lb girl very well. Had XL before and it was too large.

I am very pleased with how it fits. By ordering a childrens size, I was worried it was going to be short and wide, but it fits nicely. The only thing is the sleeves are not as long as I personally like them to be, but then again, I ordered a childrens size, due to cost, and I'm sure the adult sizes fit better. But overall, I am happy :)

I bought a North Face jacket, the Aconcagua, but I didn't like how it fit (it was a women's medium, and it was huge!). I returned it and decided to get a fleece. I am so happy that I did. I got the little girl's extra large, and it is almost too big. I like that I can move in this jacket though. Definitely one of the best purchases I've made on a jacket.

I love this jacket. I have wanted one for a long time, but never wanted to spend the money for it. I am an average sized 25 year old female and I saved a ton of money by purchasing the youth girls XL. It fits fine...the only real difference that I can see is the woman's jacket has a pocket up top and the girls does not. I would recommend this jacket to anyone!!
