I think the skirt is cute and I like to wear it, but the drawstring on the left side is stitched in and does not allow the skirt to be cinched up. The other side works fine, and I think it would be a nice way to wear it occasionally. I guess I'm going to have to use some seam rippers to get the skirt to work on both sides.

This skirt is so comfortable I ended up purchasing three of them! The zip pockets are fantastic (a feature you don't often find on a skirt) and the length is great either hiked up to stay cool or dropped down to look put together. The fabric is lightweight but dense enough for undies not to show through (unlike some other lightweight fabrics)and the cut is very flattering. The only thing I would change is that I would put the buttons on the side intead of the front...just for a dressier, more versatile look. The front fly makes this more of a casual skirt where if they were on the side it could be even more stylish. I wear mine a couple of inches below the waist and the fit is perfect in my size. Terrific skirt for traveling, backpacking, camping and just hanging around!!!

i am between a size 6 and size 8, and i was told to order the skirt up a size, so i ordered an 8. i wear the skirt on my hips, but i think it would have a 'cleaner' look if i had ordered the 6 and wore it at my waist.
