since I bought "stucco", it is a little sheer to wear without a bra. Because of the low front, I did need one of those bras that has the clear strap inbetween the cups so that the bra wouldn't show

Love this dress. I bought it in "natural" as the color option because I was looking for a casual dress that I could wear day or night. Throw on some flops to walk around town during the day and add a cute pair of wedge heels for night. This dress is very close fitted on the top--the flare bottom is somewhat forgiving.

Black would definitely take it to "girls night out" level!

While the straps are wide enough to conceal a bra strap in theory, the angle of the straps (going on a slant from the shoulder of the wearer towards the middle of the back, not straight down like a bra would) means the straps show anyway. I had to return it and get something similar with a shelf bra in it.
