| Q: Are Pets Allowed?
|
A: No. For liability reasons, absolutely no pets will be allowed.

| Q: What will we
learn?
|
A: UClimb is designed to cover the basics of climbing outdoors, stressing
safety first and foremost. You will learn proper use of gear, voice commands,
knot tying, and belaying, as well as climbing techniques and etiquette.

| Q: Can someone come
out and watch me climb or take pictures?
|
A: Anyone can come to UClimb and register as an attendee, but only those
registered as participants will be allowed in the climbing areas.
|

| Q: Do we need our
own climbing gear?
|
A: Register for “Weekend with Gear” package and your registration will include
shoes, harness, belay device, helmet, locking carabiner & chalk bag –
valued at almost $300, but it's yours to keep for only $130.
Otherwise, please bring your own shoes, harness, belay device & helmet.

| Q: Why do you need
my email address and birth date?
|
A: We ask for your email address in order to send registration confirmation and
event details. Your birth date is required so that we know what waivers need to
be signed. Privacy Policy

| Q: Is there an age
limit for this event?
|
A: Persons of any age may register as an attendee, but you must be at least ten
years old to climb.
|

| Q: Do I have to wear
a helmet?
|
A: Yes, helmets are required for climbing at all UClimb events.
|

| Q: Can I bring my
dog if I promise it’s nice?
|
A: Sorry, but even nice dogs are not allowed.
|

| Q: Can I bring my
kids out to watch me climb?
|
A: Yes, but they must be at least ten years old and registered as a
participant to watch.
|

| Q: Can I come for
only one day?
|
A: Yes, although the price is the same and includes the entire weekend.
|

| Q: If I’m registered
as a Festival attendee, can I go out and watch other people climb?
|
A: No, you must be registered as a participant to go to the climbing
areas.
|

| Q: Are you providing
lunch?
|
A: No, you will be responsible for lunch both days. However, you may purchase
brown-bag lunches on-site at the Campground.

| Q: Do I need to make
a reservation for camping?
|
A: No, camping reservations are included with your event registration.
|
|
| Q: What is the
cancellation policy?
|
A: If you cancel more than 4 business days prior to the event, all but a $10
administrative fee per cancellation will be refunded. If you must cancel within
4 business days of the start of the event, your registration fee will not be
refunded. All refunds will be credited back to the card initially charged for
the registration.
