Comments about Black Diamond Gore-Tex Frontpoint Gaiters:
bought these gaiters as trimmer option to previous gaiters. Once in place, these gaiters stay put. I use them for winter climbs. If you plan to use with plastic boots be sure to check sizing, as you may want to go larger than usual to insure proper fit.

Comments about Black Diamond Gore-Tex Frontpoint Gaiters:
I ride a motorcycle and my pants were always getting wet. I hate the idea of wearing chaps, so I needed something else to keep me warm and dry. Gaiters were recommended, so I thought I would give them a try and they have been excellent. I like the ease of use, velcro makes it quick to take them on and off and a bungee string at the top helps secure them in place. Lastly the color, just plain regular old black. No camo, great bonus, no need to blend in when you are riding a motorcycle. I highly recommend this product.

Comments about Black Diamond Gore-Tex Frontpoint Gaiters:
Slim fit is great for not catching crampons. Sizing is on the small side, so make sure they fit over plastic boots if needed.
The strap on mine has now worn through - it is not designed to be used off the snow on rock and is not easily replaceable.

Comments about Black Diamond Gore-Tex Frontpoint Gaiters:
spent 9 days bushwaking and ice climbing in the canadian rockies. The velcro is in the back of the calf, helping it to not get ice up as easilly wich is the failing point of my last pair. Downside, theres a metal hook to help keeps the velcro joint together, this hook is right where my crampon heel clip snaps onto my boot which if caught behind clip rubbed on my heel when front pointing.
