Comments about Essential Gear, Use Revere Windmill Lighter:

Bought this lighter 4 years ago for hard-core backcountry trips.
It ran out of fuel 2 days into a 9 day trip, had to use matches.
Then the fuel tank cracked, leaking fuel everywhere.
Its a good concept, with the "torch flame" but this lighter needs to be redesigned to make the internal parts more rugged & durable.
Don't waste your money on this product. A "disposable lighter" works at any elevation, and ignites below freezing.
