The Cordex Plus belay and rappel Glove from Petzl offer extra protection without sacrificing dexterity. Double-layer leather and padding protect the palm from heat generated during long rappels or lowers, and the fingertips and other high-wear areas are reinforced for increased durability.

Comments about Petzl Cordex Plus Glove:

I use these when i rappel pits in caves. Theyre light and easy to keep on the harness with holes in the wrist for a carabiner. The leather last well enought for 200+ft drops and has been lasting for years. A little high for a leather glove but well worth it!

Comments about Petzl Cordex Plus Glove:

Bought these for use in canyoneering specifically rappelling, belaying and downclimbing. Great for intended use however they run slightly large. I normally wear extra large so that is what I purchased, they were slightly loose but not too bad. Once they got wet in some of the canyons they stretched to the point where they became cumbersome to use. Other than that they perform beautifully. Not intended for actual rock climbing and might not wear well on extensive downclimbs on sandstone.
