Comments about Scarpa Inverno - Mountaineering Boot:

Great boot! Quality, warm with great construction and features!

However - I found that a UK size 8 does NOT = a US size 9, but more like a UK 8 = US 8 - and so have others.

Otherwise - this boot can't be beat!

Comments about Scarpa Inverno - Mountaineering Boot:

I use these boots on single and multi-day winter mountaineering trips, with crampons, snowshoes, and even skis. Also on moderate ice climbs.
They fit and feel great, keep my feet warm in nearly all conditions. They are built well; I expect to have them for years.
The only negatives: tough to lace up tightly, make for awkward walking on hard surfaces, and will let water in if it's over about 2 1/2 inches deep.
My son and several friends also have these same boots; we all agree they serve us well in many different conditions.
