Comments about Mountain Hardwear Nut Shell High Gaiter - Men's:

They keep the snow out and stay in place. They'd be easier to put on with a rugged strap instead of the laces. On the plus side, if the lace breaks you can just replace it.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Nut Shell High Gaiter - Men's:

I use these in the deep snow, they work really well. I just had them out yesterday in -15F and they didn't get too stiff. I climbed some small mountains in Colorado two weeks ago and they did good there too. They have a wide velcro strip running vertical up your shin, a boot hook on the bottom, rubber gripped stretchy material around the ankle, and a bungie pull at the top. The strings across the bottom can be replaced with whatever, which is nice because they wear out on any gaitor. They look alot better in person than in the picture. I wear a large and I am 6'0 160lbs.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Nut Shell High Gaiter - Men's:

I use this exact model to ride enduro motorcycle in Minnesota, also to casual hike deep snow. I just took them to Colorado for a day hike on a mountain, they work perfect. They have eye holes for the straps to go through, so you can replace the strap if/when they break. They also look better in person than in the picture.

I am 6 feet tall 160lbs, and use a large.
