    Comments about Buck Knives Redpoint:

I purchased this for my father as a Christmas present so, unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to actually use this knife. I'll admit that I couldn't resist checking it out before wrapping it and it is VERY sharp.

      Comments about Buck Knives Redpoint:

I bought this knife to keep on my harness when I climb. I was totally sold on the blade locking closed and opened and how easy one handed operation is. I have had this knife for about 2 years and now sometimes I notice the knife opens up by itself from sand and dirt getting into the locking mechanism. It is scary looking down and seeing an opened knife on my harness, so I am planning on cleaning it and buying a new one to replace it. The bottle opener function is great although I always havea lighter so I never need it, and it also dings up the carabiner and doesnt really fit all too well on the BD hotwire I keep it on. The carabiner is now retired becasue of the bottle opener. Otherwise it is an awesome knife stays sharp, and works great for everything from cutting cheese, to cutting ropes, and is light.

        Comments about Buck Knives Redpoint:

This is a very nice pocket knife, well made that really looks strong. It is extremely sharp. The opening system is easy but not if you have gloves on. The blade locking system feels safe and the bottle opener/utility arch is a good idea. This knife doesn't feel heavy in a pocket, the belt clip is useful too. A really good knife to carry around.
