Comments about Mammut 9.5 mm Infinity Rope - Dry:

I keep choosing this rope because it is as light as other 9mm ropes, but the sheath holds up like a 10mm. I would recommend this rope to anyone climbing trad or sport. Great handling characteristics make this rope friendly for its entire life. Definitely one of the best ropes on the market.

Comments about Mammut 9.5 mm Infinity Rope - Dry:

I generally prefer Mammut ropes and this is my favorite. Handles well, lightweight for the approach. Does not kink on me which is huge. I've had ropes that drove me crazy with the kinking. I'm finding that sport routes seem to be getting longer and it's necessary to have a 70m, so with the extra length, a skinnier, lighter rope is easier on the approach and on clipping the chains, i.e. less drag.

Comments about Mammut 9.5 mm Infinity Rope - Dry:

Use this rope a lot and it's well worth the cash. Got the 70m and it's lived up to mammut's reputation.

Comments about Mammut 9.5 mm Infinity Rope - Dry:

Great rope for multipitch trad routes. This rope is simply beautiful. I appreciate the dry treatment on each of the core strands as well as the sheath. This apparently creates less friction inside the rope, so it can be engineered lighter/stronger.

Mainly it just performs better than any of my other ropes. Of course for this price it wont see top rope sessions or multi fall sport routes. For that I go with Bluewater Eliminators.

Out of the package climbable due to Mammut's lap coil, unlike Petzl's that seem to start twisty.
