Comments about La Sportiva Miura Rock Shoe - Men's:

Lost my pair of Miuras --> time for new shoes --> such a great versatile shoe that I only wanted to get another pair of the same [for me, forget about everything else!].
Sizing for versatile* use (compensating for stretch): The stretch of these leather shoes is not as much as others - just mild stretch. I size just small enough that I wouldn't stand in them for 1+hrs, so when they break in, they're perfect.
*gym, boudering, sport, crag days - I don't wear them for [long] trad routes, except for the 11+ range.
I really haven't found another downturned asymmetric shoe that is as comfortable for my rather sizable feet and Morton's toe.
FYI: the Miura VS fit feels a LOT different than the lace-ups. I love these, but don't get along with Miura VS.

Comments about La Sportiva Miura Rock Shoe - Men's:

My favorite shoe out on the market. The shoe feels really nice and snug on your feet, and the laces let you choose how tight you want the shoe. I can have it anywhere from pretty relaxed to my toes going numb in 30 minutes or so.

The leather is amazing. Aggressive enough to make point precision movements. The heel is great as well. Leather lasted me about 1/2 a year before it started tearing, climbing 3-4 times a week in a gym with outdoor trips scattered.

The work well on plastic but man do they shine on the rocks.

Comments about La Sportiva Miura Rock Shoe - Men's:

Fit great right out of the box. Over time they have stretched so I probably could have used a half size smaller. I bought a 41.5 and generally wear a 10.5 street shoe. Due to this the heel doesn't feel as solid as it used to. Bouldering and sport they have never not met my expectations. Even as they are wearing down and I have bought new shoes I still find my self slipping these on. Love these shoes!

Comments about La Sportiva Miura Rock Shoe - Men's:

La Sportiva has made the ultimate micro edging shoe and is comparable to the stickiness of the infamous 510 rubber. Only defaults that I have found is that it doesnt stick to yosemite rock as well as I expected.

Comments about La Sportiva Miura Rock Shoe - Men's:

I love these things. They are my favorite shoe to date. They edge very well for crimpy sport routes, they smear well and take cracks well for trad. The Murias did not stretch much for me, they start to get a bit soar on climbs much more than 6 pitches. So for multi pitch I would get a half size larger for my self. After my first pair wore out I looked for another shoe (brand and style), after much searching I went back to the miuras again. They are the best all around shoe I have ever found, the rubber is super sticky and wears resonably well. I highly recommend them

Comments about La Sportiva Miura Rock Shoe - Men's:

These are really good shoes but make sure you size them well to your feet. I wear a size 12 casual shoe and when I got these in 10 and a half, I didn't get the fit that I wanted. I went down to a 9 and a half and it is a really good fit but sometimes I feel that I could go a half size lower.

Remember, if you don't downsize appropriately, these shoes do not work to their true potential!

Love this shoe. This is my favorite sportiva climbing shoe. It fits me well like most of the other sportiva shoes I have owned. It's super versatile. I love it in the gym and at the crag. I love the lace and the fit even if I choose not to lace up. My street shoe size is 11 US but I fit a 43 EU in this.

Comments about La Sportiva Miura Rock Shoe - Men's:

My Muiras are my only sport climbing specific shoe, and I've had them resoled several times. They remain my most technical, aggressive shoes, and I strongly doubt I need anything else. They are precise, just a little bit soft so they smear well, and incredibly comfortable. They even jam reasonably comfortably without sacrificing much face climbing ability.

The only complaint I've heard is that the stock laces break if looked at in the wrong light. Expect to replace the laces early and often. Also, I've heard the heel is uncomfortable for some, but I'm one of the lucky few for which the heel fits perfectly. Definitely try these on before you buy them.

Comments about La Sportiva Miura Rock Shoe - Men's:

I've been climbing in these for about 6 months. They're my second pair of Sportivas, after the Venoms, and unlike the Venoms, these feel amazing on my feet. My street shoe is a 44.5, I bought these in a 42. They're extremely comfortable and have no dead space, though sometimes I wish I had gone 41.5 so that I could get a bit more toe curl. The heel hooks are phenomenal. The shoes aren't as good as my Venoms at steep climbing, though. However, whereas the Venoms felt like they would break my toes every time I shoved them in a crack, these feel perfectly at home running up a trad line. Bottom line: great for every imaginable climbing situation, except roofs, where they're *only* pretty good.
