I had a friend buy me 2 of these for Christmas 3 or 4 years ago. I use them at the anchors. They work as described, but one of the best things about them is that my rope is always cleaner than anyone else that I might climb with.
Using these as tr draws eliminates the rope-over-biner action that turns a rope (and your hands) black.

i place it to the point just before crux. my rope will last longer.

This piece has many functional uses. Saves weight when setting up pully systems. When paired w/ other gear you can have a nice light glacier travel rack!

I was surprised that I used it on the first climb after I bought it. I was in a chimney with limited gear placement options (typical Sedona sandstone). I usually place a double length sling on a specific placement to reduce rope drag. I used the revolver on a single length (2') sling instead and it worked like a charm. I didn't notice any rope drag and could see the rope was definitely pulling on the biner.

Very cool! I was nice to know I had 4' less fall potential!

This one Item can turn a nightmare rope drag into a casual onsight.
And also lessen the impact forces on that thin gear at the crux, great!

I use two of these, opposite and opposed if I top rope anything. Less friction and a huge diameter bend for the rope, keeps everything in great shape. One of the pulleys did get dirty at the Gorge, but it was easily cleaned and spins freely again. There is a huge difference in the amount of aluminum that rubs off onto your rope when using these, expensive solution I guess, but my hands are clean after belaying through these a couple times compared to being black after using a single biner.
