Comments about Black Diamond Rocklock Carabiner - Twistlock:

Wayyy better then the triact-lock biner or any with a 3-point lock system! Easy to open and good size. Usually it's kept on my harness as a belay biner but could be used on directs, I don't just for added safety

Comments about Black Diamond Rocklock Carabiner - Twistlock:

Carabiners have numerous applications – convenience, rescue and recovery – to paddlers. The most convenient place to carry a 'biner is on your PFD, but that creates the possibility of inadvertently becoming clipped to an object, such as perimeter lines during a reentry. Screw-lock 'biners address that issue, but you have to keep an eye on the screw, to make sure that it has not backed off. The twist-lock takes the worry out of carrying a carabiner on the outside of your PFD, since it cannot unlock itself.

Comments about Black Diamond Rocklock Carabiner - Twistlock:

This autolocking carabiner is nice. It has more space than some of the petzl locking carabiners that I have owned in the past. Friction, ease of use = great.

Comments about Black Diamond Rocklock Carabiner - Twistlock:

I use these twistlock biners as the clip-ins at the end of a S.A.F.E.R. (lobster claw) safety system. One at the end of each daisy chain.

Although the ones I bought were cheaper because they were cosmetic seconds, the imperfections are hardly noticeable. Cosmetic seconds are a good way to get expensive gear for a less.

The action is smooth, both on the twist barrel and on the gate. These are A1 biners in every way. I'm very pleased that I got these Black Diamond biners at such a good price.
