        Comments about DMM Shield Quickdraw:

DMM or Mountain gear needs to offer a price reduction for buying a set. Nice stuff but not fool proof! I snagged a pin on a sport run! The spring is very strong, makes it hard to clip without practice. Very strong, very light, very very very expensive.

              Comments about DMM Shield Quickdraw:

These are the lightest, strongest, best designed draws on the market today. It took DMM to finally rediscover the I-beam (gee, why did that take so long?) and apply it to carabiner design, yielding a lighter yet stronger beam. Wire gates with their reduced mass mean that it's very unlikely that the gate will flutter and open in a fall. Even if the gate does open, these biners have an unprecedented 10KN gate open strength. The curved spine makes these draws way easier to pinch-clip and the shrouded gate means these draws won't catch on bolt hangers - a pain when cleaning steep routes. The only drawback with these draws is the exorbitant price tag.

              Comments about DMM Shield Quickdraw:

A super lightweight but incredibly strong quickdraw. Smooth opening action and with a good feel. The only downside is they cost a bit more than other draws.
