Comments about Mammut Shock Absorber - Dyneema 16mm:

Certainly not worth the money. I tried this since it is lighter than the competition, but found out they use bar tacks. For this amount of money they should use linear stitching like the competitors.

Comments about Mammut Shock Absorber - Dyneema 16mm:

While these are 2/3 the weight of Screamers, they are 2 1/2 times as expensive. Furthermore, instead of linear stitching, they use bar tacks, something Yates switched from 20 years ago.

Comments about Mammut Shock Absorber - Dyneema 16mm:

Use for ice and alpine. Half the weight of older nylon screamers. Only downside is that it doesn't have a rubber thingy or other means to hold the rope-side biner in place (can use tape or rubber o-rings for this, but on such an expensive product seems like Mammut would provide). It is overly expensive, but I expect knockoffs will appear soon. . .
