Available to ship now.

The tool for solo climbing.

A directional cam feeds rope automatically as the climber advances, yet locks solidly in a fall. Suitable for lead climbing, top roping, and it can also be used for rappels. This is not a device for novice climbers. It requires a strong understanding of rope work.

      Comments about Rock Exotica Soloist:

I have used the soloist several times lead climbing and it has worked flawlessly. It takes a little getting used to and I practiced indoors until I felt comfortable. Be sure and familiarize yourself thoroughly with the instructions. You do have to feed the rope through the device when toproping but it feeds smoothly.

        Comments about Rock Exotica Soloist:

used the soloist this past Sunday at the Gunks, on a top rope, worked like a champ, took some time play with it,learned you can lower yourself by pulling back on the top of the unit by taking a piece of sling to foot, you can lower yourself with very little effort, had to pull rope through unit as I climbed but was not difficult and if you fall the unit grabs quickly
