Comments about Black Diamond Factor AT Boot - Men's:

I need a boot with a flex rating of at least 130, anything less collapses when I start driving them forward in a serious way; these boots deliver. They offer good versatility for both in bounds and alpine touring. They have great edge to edge quickness. The Boa boot liners are really good for dialing them in with a level of precision fit that I'm just not used to getting in an off-the-shelf boot liner; with their cable ratcheting system, very cool.

Comments about Black Diamond Factor AT Boot - Men's:

The boot fit good for two seasons, the lining delaminated from cushion inside boot liner. then the lining would wrinkle on the sides of heel pockets. I would rate the stiffness more like 90 to 100 not 130!

Comments about Black Diamond Factor AT Boot - Men's:

I have 17 days in these boots. Everything from deep powder, hard snow, race course work, avie work. They are the warmest boots I can ever remember using (and we have had -20 degree temps). These are burly boots. Plenty of stiffness. I could run gates with these boots, but in walk mode they are just like a light pair of hiking boots. BD did their homework on these. The Factors are a legitimate 130 flex.
